STORY FEEDBACK THAT’S APPLICABLE

“Evan Atwood is both a student of cinema as well as a practitioner of the art, which has prepared him, I think, to effectively evaluate the screenplays of others. His extensive feedback on my screenplay, The Search, has been especially meaningful and helpful.”

-Cristóbal Krusen | Writer/Director of Sabina K., Let Me Have My Son

“I can’t thank you enough for the support you gave this week. You honestly gave some of the best advice that I have ever received in the years that I have participated in WOP. This has truly been a great week.”

-Ricardo Ramos | “Write of Passage” Screenwriter

FILM SCRIPT REVIEW

$200
(up to 100 pages, and $2/page after that)

A script review involves a thorough read of the script. Notes are made on specific trouble spots, and suggestions are made for how to alter those specific lines, action texts, and scenes.

DETAILED FILM SCRIPT ANALYSIS

$300
(up to 100 pages, and $3/page after that)

A full script analysis is made up of two passes of your screenplay, allowing for a thorough breakdown of what is working, not working, (and how and why I see it working or not) in these categories: external plot, main subplot, character development, dialogue, and imagery, as well as any visual development of your film that exists in the screenplay.

In addition to notes written on trouble spots, (with suggestions on how to improve these), a 3-5 page report is delivered to you covering the categories outlined above.

EPISODIC SCRIPT REVIEW

DETAILED EPISODIC SCRIPT ANALYSIS

(up to 50 pages, and $3/page after that)

A detailed script analysis of an episode is made up of two passes of your script, allowing for a thorough breakdown of what is working, not working, (and how and why I see it working or not) in these categories: character development, plot, subplot(s), dialogue, and imagery.

In addition to notes written on trouble spots, (with suggestions on how to improve these), a 2-3 page report is delivered to you covering the categories outlined above.

RE-WRITES & COLLABORATIVE WRITING

You can contact me below about
re-writing your script and/or
co-writing with you.

I’VE ALWAYS BEEN AROUND STORY AND STORYTELLING. I GREW UP WATCHING LIVE THEATER,
WHICH MY PARENTS PRODUCED - AND
WROTE, DIRECTED, AND ACTED IN -
ON A REGULAR BASIS.

I WROTE MY FIRST SCREENPLAYS IN HIGH SCHOOL, STUDIED SCREEN STORY STRUCTURE STARTING AT THAT TIME AND IN FILM SCHOOL; AND 21 YEARS LATER I AM CURRENTLY WRITING MY
10th FEATURE-LENGTH SCREENPLAY.
