Your film is a gemstone, discovered after long searching… then much digging. And now every take deserves thorough consideration in the editing room. We can consider together what character’s P.O.V. to show each scene from, best actors' performances per beat, and the best sequence of shots to build toward the scene climax. I'm a Director as well as an Editor, so I understand the feeling of starting off down the road —
yet again — after months or years in the saddle. (What's with all the wild west metaphors?
Does this guy only edit westerns or something?).
I love the use of metaphor and symbolism in the art of cinema. I love to discover the aroma that comes out toward the end of the marinating process, as moments come alive in the finer drafts of an edit. Each frame — on either side of a cut — matters to me. Thanks in part to my experience cutting 16mm films with a razor blade!
I want it to feel just right. As Walter Murch says in The Blink of an Eye, editing is 51% emotion. I’ve edited with Premiere since high school... (which—I won't tell you how long ago that was—okay, you got me… 2002-2005).
I’ve also used Final Cut Pro and EDIUS in full-time/professional contexts.
It would be an honor to collaborate with you as your Editor.
Feel free to schedule a 15-20 minute consult with me below.

Purity
Purity shares how she was sponsored to go to KG3 (Kindergarten year 1 in Kenya) through the “My Gift for Jesus” program. Because of her sponsorship, and the influence of the Christian schools that Purity grew up in, she is a joyful Christian. And now she has hopes of going on to study at university, becoming a doctor, and helping those around her who are in need.
